TEP – Taglio e perforazione cemento armato S.r.L. uses a full range of innovative techniques in the field of building strengthening- from resin to anchoring systems-, taking advantage of the company’s vast experience in the fields of controlled demolition, diamond drilling and static and seismic adaptations.
The state-of-the-art techniques used include drilling and diamond drilling of the structures to be reinforced, strengthening through resin or mortar injections to saturate the wall mass, and anchoring by adding steel bars. Drilling and diamond drilling operations are performed using diamond-tipped tools, and no vibration that could damage the masonry to be reinforced is caused.
These works may require specific solutions:
Passive tie-rods with DYWIDAG or GEWI steel bars- a steel bar that is inserted into a needle-punched polyester braid and then subsequently filled with mortars injected at low pressure.
Active tie-rods with cables in steel-wrapped strands
Armoured seams, riveting, grouting that can be carried out for structural strengthening with different types of material: various types of steel coffins, they can be injected with various types of cement-based lime, epoxy resin, etc.
